Microchip Technology ATSAMA5D2-ICP Industrial Connectivity Platform (EV26C77A) enables evaluation and prototyping with the high-performance, ultra-low-power SAMA5D27 Arm® Cortex®-A5 Microprocessor (MPU), running up to 500MHz. The Microchip Technology SAMA5D27 features powerful peripherals for connectivity and user interface applications while offering advanced security functions.
The SAMA5D2-ICP Industrial Connectivity Platform demonstrates the rich wired and wireless connectivity suite of the Microchip SAMA5D2 Arm Cortex-A based microprocessors. It offers a starting point for applications that include EtherCAT, Ethernet 10/100 and 10/100/1000, CAN, Wi-Fi®, BLUETOOTH®, USB communications, or any combination of these. Connectors and expansion headers allow for easy customization and quick access to leading-edge embedded features such as Mikroelektronica clickboards.
The SAMA5D2-ICP is supported by the mainline Linux distribution and includes an on-board Embedded Debugger, eliminating the need for external tools for programming or debugging.
