IXBOD2 Breakover Diode Modules

IXYS IXBOD2 Breakover Diode Modules are high-voltage protection devices designed to provide fast and reliable overvoltage protection in demanding power electronics applications. The IXBOD2 breakover diodes feature an exceptionally fast turn-on response, low leakage current, and minimal temperature dependence. The devices provide very low off-state current, high dv/dt capability up to 3000V/μs, and surge current handling up to 200A. These features make the devices ideal for safeguarding sensitive circuits against transient voltage events, lightning strikes, arcing conditions, and battery overvoltage conditions.
