Designed for fast and easy integration into wireless devices with minimal implementation cost, the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz antennas with side-fed cables meet space requirements that prohibit center-fed cable antennas.

The Molex 206994-series flexible antenna, available from Mouser Electronics, is a highly compact, side-fed monopole 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz antenna that measures just 15 mm × 6 mm. The antenna offers high RF performance for the most demanding and space-constrained Wi-Fi applications, providing over 70 percent radiation efficiency and return loss of less than minus 10 dB, making it ideal for applications that need gain values of at least 3.6 dBi.

The 204281-series antenna supports applications that need fully balanced transmission design that minimizes ground-plane effects and significantly reduces costs and engineering resources needed for additional circuitry, frequency tuning, and electronic component integration. The antenna's poly-flexible, double-sided adhesive tape enables easy peel-and-stick mounting anywhere within the device casing.

The 206994 series antenna is available with a 100 mm micro-coaxial cable, while the 204281 series antenna is available in six cable length options, from 50mm to 300mm, to ensure maximum design flexibility in meeting connectivity needs. All antennas include a u.FL connector for secure connection to the device's radio.
