Texas Instruments TPS65386001Q1EVM Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments TPS65386001Q1EVM Evaluation Module (EVM) evaluates the features and performance of the TPS65386xxx-Q1. The TPS65386xxx-Q1 is a multi-rail power supply designed to supply microcontrollers, sensors, transceivers, and peripherals in safety-relevant applications. The device supports functional safety microcontrollers with dual-core lockstep and other multi-core architectures. The Texas Instruments TPS65386xxx-Q1 device integrates multiple supply rails to power the MCU, CAN, Ethernet or FlexRay transceivers, external sensors, and other peripheral devices. A buck-boost converter with internal FETs converts the input battery voltage to a pre-regulated output that supplies the other regulators and system loads. The device supports wakeup from two external sources via the WAKEx pins, compatible with supply referenced or digital signal levels, integrated rotation counter-based wakeup, and integrated low-power timer-based wakeup.

Features

  • Evaluation of TPS65386001-Q1 device features and performance
  • On-board LDO regulators to evaluate device external voltage monitors
  • On-board USB2ANY MCU to communicate with the device GUI and evaluate device safety features like Q&A watchdog
