Texas Instruments TLV755P 500mA LDO Regulators
Texas Instruments TLV755P 500mA Low Drop Out (LDO) Regulators with foldback overcurrent protection have an ideal line and load transient performance in an ultra-small package. Features include an input voltage range of 1.44V to 5.5V, a low dropout of 220mV (Max.) at 500mA (3.3VOUT), and a low IQ of 25µA (Typical), which enables functionality to minimize standby power. A fixed output voltage of 0.6V to 5V supports modern microcontrollers' lower core voltages and minimizes cost and solution size. The device offers an internal soft-start to lower inrush current, offering a controlled voltage to the load and minimizing the input voltage drop during start-up. The device actively pulls down the output to quickly discharge the outputs and ensure a known start-up state when shutdown. The TLV755P provides a typical accuracy of 1% due to the precision band-gap and error amplifier, as well as stability with small ceramic output capacitors allowing for a small overall solution size. Other features include integrated thermal shutdown, current limit, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), and an internal foldback current limit that helps reduce the thermal dissipation during short-circuit events.Features
