Texas Instruments TAS2505-Q1EVM Audio Amplifier Evaluation Board is a complete demo reference design for the TAS2505-Q1. The TAS2505-Q1 is a low-power Class-D digital audio amplifier with analog, digital, and mixed input capabilities. The TAS2505-Q1EVM is controlled via USB with TI’s Codec Control Software or with external I²C/SPI commands. The device includes two external circuit examples that show how open load detection can be added to the amplifier’s native fault detection. This includes the ability to detect short-to-ground, short-to-power, short-between terminals, and over-temperature.
