TE Connectivity Economy Power 2.5 Surface Mount Headers
TE Connectivity's (TE) Economy Power (EP) 2.5 Surface Mount Headers are designed to support automated pick-and-place assembly and reflow soldering, allowing for more efficient PCB manufacturing. These Surface Mount Technology (SMT) headers require fewer processing steps and offer a reduced risk of connection failure due to solder bridging. The EP 2.5 SMT headers are UL and VDE-certified and safely mate with existing EP 2.5 connectors and similar 2.5mm pitch products. These SMT headers feature a 4.2A maximum current, 250VAC voltage rating, 26AWG to 20AWG wire size range, and -55°C to 105°C operating temperature range. Typical applications include low-power and signal systems in home appliances, HVAC, industrial equipment, and lighting.
