STMicroelectronics STEVAL-LLL014V1 Automotive LED Driver Eval Kit
STMicroelectronics STEVAL-LLL014V1 Automotive LED Driver Evaluation Kit features four LED strings and employs the ALED7709 LED driver. The driver is AEC-Q100 Grade 1 certified and can be a boost or SEPIC DC/DC controller. The STMicroelectronics STEVAL-LLL014V1 also includes four low-side constant-current sinkers. Integrating the boost controller with the LED sinkers allows for adjustable boost voltage, minimizing power dissipation in the ALED7709 and improving overall efficiency. This kit also houses the SPC582B60E1, a 32-bit automotive-grade microcontroller, which communicates with the ALED7709 through an I2C interface. The STEVAL-LLL014V1 can be configured and controlled using the STSW-LLL014GUI software, running on a PC connected via USB. Additionally, the ALED7709 can be disconnected from the onboard MCU and controlled by an external customer I2C system.
