STMicroelectronics SPC584-DIS Discovery Board
STMicroelectronics SPC584-DIS Discovery Board is ideal for accelerating development and securing a fast time-to-market, with a perfect balance among performances, functionalities, and cost. Featuring the SPC58 Chorus 4B Line microcontrollers line, it addresses a wide range of automotive applications such as body and gateway, in which safety and security needs are growing. The STMicroelectronics board provides full access to all CPU signals and GPIOs and offers compatibility with Arduino Shield through dedicated connectors. The board offers easy debugging with a JTAG port and the onboard PLS debugger programmer; PLS Universal Debug Engine Software is available for free download and includes a perpetual debug/program license. An optional JTAG connector is available. The board also includes expansion connectors to connect prototyping boards or additional modules and push switches and LEDs for HMI customization. The chorus family provides great scalability across lines, offering pin-to-pin compatibility; SPC584B-DIS offers full compatibility with the SPC582B-DIS discovery board. This will allow a seamless transition from the SPC58 Chorus 4B Line to the SPC58 Chorus 2B Line for design-variants or future requirements, minimizing the challenges and securing time-to-market.
