ROHM Semiconductor BDL00A5 LDO Regulators

ROHM Semiconductor BDL00A5 LDO Regulators include the BDL00A5NUF-C and BDL00A5EFJ-C for power supplies in various automotive applications. The linear regulators are developed for up to 20V as an absolute maximum voltage and to operate until 500mA for the output current with a low current consumption of 30µA (Typ). The reference voltage accuracy (ADJ pin voltage accuracy) offers a very high accuracy of ±2%. The output voltage can be adjusted between 1V and 17V by an external resistive divider connected to the ADJ pin. The output shutdown function is integrated into the BDL00A5. A logical “HIGH” at the EN Pin turns on the device, and on the other side, the device is controlled to disable by a logical “LOW” input to the EN Pin.

The ROHM Semiconductor BDL00A5 LDO Regulators provide integrated over-current protection to protect the device from damage caused by short-circuiting or overload. The regulators also embed thermal shutdown protection to avoid damage caused by overheating. Additionally, low ESR ceramic capacitors are excellent for phase compensation.
