Raspberry Pi Global Shutter Camera

Raspberry Pi Global Shutter Camera is a specialized 1.6MP camera that captures rapid motion without the artifacts typically found in rolling shutter cameras. This camera is ideal for fast-motion photography and machine vision applications, where even tiny amounts of distortion can degrade inference performance. The camera features a large pixel size of 3.45μm x 3.45μm with high light sensitivity and can operate with exposure times as low as 30μs with adequate lighting for high-speed photography. The module includes a 1.6MP Sony IMX296 sensor, which offers a lower resolution than similarly sized rolling shutter sensors, and with appropriate lens magnification, an image suitable for processing by a machine vision model can be captured. Raspberry Pi Global Shutter Camera includes a C- to CS-mount adapter, 150mm ribbon cable, screwdriver, and a removable plastic back cover for protection. The camera is compatible with any Raspberry Pi computer that has a CSI connector.
