Pomona Electronics Static Control (ESD) Products
Pomona Electronics Static Control Products are an array of electrostatic discharge (ESD) products that include a foot grounder, a static-free floor mat, a continuous monitor, and a combination wrist strap/footwear tester. Pomona HLSTRP1 provides electrostatic control through a foot grounder, heel strap, with 1MΩ resistor. SCMAT3 is a conductive PVC floor mat with grounding kit. SCTEST2 is a combo wrist wrap and footwear tester with a foot plate. SCTEST3 is a multi-mount continuous monitor (North America plug).Features
- HLSTRP1
- Provides a continuous ground path between an operator and properly grounded ESD protected flooring
- Designed with size adjustable material and expands to fit most shoe sizes comfortably and flexible during walking
- Tear-resistant rubber with inner scrim offers reinforced material that prevents tearing and increases the service life of the foot grounder
- SCMAT3
- Conductive PVC floor matting with a grounding kit
- Provides a flooring surface that does not generate a static charge and will act as part of the path to ground for an operator wearing ESD footwear
- The resistance range of the surface layer remains low enough to act as a path to ground with the normal build-up of dirt and grime on the mat
- ˂ 1 x 106Ω typical resistance to top and resistance to ground
- SCTEST2
- Tests the operator's path-to-ground to determine that the personal grounding device is functioning correctly
- Separate test circuits for wrist straps and foot grounders by means of a rocker switch, allowing the operator to quickly test all personal grounding devices
- A green light indicates that the wrist strap or footwear is passing
- 9V alkaline battery power supply
- +5°C to +40°C operating temperature range
- SCTEST3
- Continuously monitors the path-to-ground integrity of one operator and one ESD worksurface
- Monitors for a worksurface path-to-ground of <10MΩ
- Mounting tabs make it suitable to install in workbench or equipment settings
- +10°C to +35°C operating temperature range
