onsemi NCP173 LDO Regulators
onsemi NCP173 LDO Regulators are CMOS low dropout devices designed for portable battery-powered applications that need ultra-low quiescent current and long operating life. These regulators support 150mA of output current, operate from a 2.2V to 5.5V input range, and feature a typical 500nA quiescent current to help extend battery runtime in space-constrained designs.
Dynamic transient boost circuitry improves transient response in wireless communication applications, while factory trimming supports ±1% output voltage accuracy. The onsemi NCP173 LDO Regulators are stable with 1µF ceramic capacitors and integrate overcurrent protection, thermal shutdown protection, and an active discharge option in selected variants for added system control and protection.
These regulators are ideal for battery-powered equipment, portable communication equipment, cameras, image sensors, and camcorders. NCP173 devices are available with output voltages from 1.2V to 3.6V in 0.1V steps and are offered in XDFN4, SOT-563, and TSOP-5 packages.
