NXP Semiconductors LPC23x ARM7™ based MCUs

NXP Semiconductors LPC23x ARM7™ based MCUs are built for connectivity, these powerful ARM7™ based microcontrollers (MCUs) support 10/100 Ethernet, full-speed (12Mbps) USB 2.0, and CAN 2.0B. The devices have up to 512KB of ISP/IAP Flash, up to 58KB of SRAM, 10-bit A/D, and D/A converters, as well as an IRC oscillator, and options for an SD memory card interface. The MCUs feature two AHB buses so high-bandwidth peripherals like Ethernet and USB can run simultaneously without impacting the main application. Applications include industrial control, POS systems, protocol conversion, building automation, and security systems.

Features

  • ARM7TDMI-S processor, running at up to 72MHz
  • Up to 512 kB on-chip flash program memory with In-System Programming (ISP) and In-Application Programming (IAP) capabilities
  • 8kB/32kB of SRAM on the ARM local bus for high-performance CPU access
  • 16kB SRAM for Ethernet interface. Can also be used as general-purpose SRAM
  • 8kB SRAM for general purpose DMA uses also accessible by the USB
  • Dual Advanced High-performance Bus (AHB) system that provides for simultaneous Ethernet DMA, USB DMA, and program execution
  • Advanced Vectored Interrupt Controller (VIC), supporting up to 32 vectored interrupts
