Microsemi / Microchip PD-96xxGC 90W IEEE 802.3bt Midspans

Microsemi / Microchip PD-96xxGC Gigabit Midspans are PoE (Power over Ethernet) injectors that can provide up to 90W based on the IEEE 802.3bt standard. The PD-96xxGC Midspans are designed for remote powering of current as well as emerging high-power applications and are offered in 1, 6, 12, and 24 port variants.

Microsemi / Microchip PD-96xxGC Midspans are ideal for powering 802.11 access points, pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) and dome cameras, IP videophones, thin clients, and other high-power Ethernet end terminals with 90W of power. These 802.3bt devices are backward compatible and safe to use with any IEEE 802.3af/at terminal. With plug-and-play installation, they are easy and cost-effective to implement, leveraging existing Ethernet infrastructure while at the same time providing the assurance of a future-proof network.

These devices are offered in regional variants, with plug types specific to Australia, Europe, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The last two characters in the part number indicate the regional designation.

PowerView Pro

The Multiport PD-9606GC, PD-9612GC, and PD-9624GC Midspans include PowerView Pro, a secure, remote SNMP web-based management utility used to monitor and control the devices via a remote network management station. The system provides direct on-line power supervision, configuration, monitoring, and diagnostics of these PoE injectors from any computer using any Web browser, SNMPv2c/SNMPv3 management station, Telnet/SSH, RS232 Terminal, or USB virtual COM.
