DFRobot Solar Power Manager 5V
DFRobot Solar Power Manager 5V is a small power and high-efficiency solar power management module designed for a 5V solar panel. This device provides Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) and an ON/OFF-controllable DC-DC converter with a 5V, 1A output. The solar power manager 5V features up to 900mA (solar/USB charger) double charging current to a 3.7V Li battery via a USB charger or a solar panel. This device is designed for IoT projects and renewable energy projects for safe and high-efficiency embedded solar power management modules. Protection features include overcharge/overdischarge/overcurrent/reverse connection for BAT IN, short circuit/overcurrent/overheat protection for 5V/USB OUT, and reverse connection for SOLAR IN. The solar power manager 5V operates at -40°C to 85°C temperature range and is available in 33mm x 63mm dimensions. Typical applications include smart solar environment monitor systems, solar-powered robots, small solar street lamps, and solar power banks.
