Bourns GDT230E Very High Energy Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs) are high surge current devices rated at 160kA maximum impulse discharge current on an 8/20μs waveform. These GDTs feature low capacitance, less than 100ns breakdown time, fast response time, and low insertion loss. The GDT230E GDTs comply with ITU-T K.12 testing methods and are UL-1449 recognized. These GDTs are ideal for high-density and space-restricted applications. The GDT230E GDTs are used in Surge Protective Devices (SPDs), power systems, and industrial equipment.
