Analog Devices Inc. MAX33042E +5V CAN Transceiver features integrated protection for industrial applications. The MAX33042E has an extended ±40V fault protection for equipment where overvoltage protection is required. It also incorporates high ±40kV ESD Human Body Model (HBM) protection and an input common-mode range (CMR) of ±25V. This exceeds the ISO 11898-2 CAN standard of -2V to +7V.
