Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated MAX17532 DC-DC Converters

Analog Devices Inc. MAX17532 DC-DC Converters are high-efficiency, high-voltage synchronous step-down converters. These converters feature integrated MOSFETs, which operate over a 4V to 42V input voltage. The MAX17532 delivers up to 100mA of current and output voltage of 0.8V up to 0.9V VIN. The feedback voltage is accurate to within ±1.75% over -40°C to +125°C. The ADI MAX17532 uses peak-current-mode control and can be operated in Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) or Pulse-Frequency Modulation (PFM).

Evaluation Kit

Analog Devices Inc. MAX17532AUBEVKIT 5V Evaluation Kit is a fully assembled and tested circuit board that demonstrates the performance of the MAX17532. The MAX17532 is a 42V, 100mA ultra-small, high-efficiency, synchronous step-down DC-DC converter in a 10-pin µMAX package. The evaluation kit operates over a wide input voltage range of 6V to 42V and provides up to 100mA load current at 5V output. It draws only 26µA supply current under no-load conditions (EN/UVLO connected to VIN). The evaluation kit is programmed to switch at a frequency of 220kHz. The device is simple to use and easily configurable with minimal external components. It features cycle-by-cycle peak current-limit protection, undervoltage lockout, and thermal shutdown.
