Analog Devices Inc. LTC3882 Demo Board DC2252A-A
Analog Devices LTC3882 Demo Board DC2252A-A is a lab tool designed to program and verify the EEPROM inside the LTC3882 PolyPhase DC-DC Synchronous Step-down Switching Regulator Controller. The DC2252A-A features an onboard clamshell-style programming socket and is shipped with an LTC3882 Power Management IC pre-installed. The EEPROM contains the factory default configuration. The LTC3882 Demo Board DC2252A-A requires a Windows PC, the DC1613A USB-to-I2C/SMBus/PMBus Controller, and the LTpowerPlay software. The LTpowerPlay™ .proj file corresponding to the factory default can be found in the GUI.
LTpowerPlay GUI Software
LTpowerPlay is a powerful Windows-based development environment that supports Analog Devices Power Management ICs (PMICs), including the LTC3880, LTC3883, LTC3882, LTC2974, and LTC2978. LTpowerPlay can be used to evaluate the PMICs by connecting to a Demo Board system. LTpowerPlay can also be used in an offline mode (with no hardware present) in order to build a multichip configuration file that can be saved and reloaded at a later time.
LTpowerPlay can function as a diagnostic tool during board bring-up to program or tweak the power management scheme in a system, or to diagnose power issues when bringing up rails. The software also includes an automatic update feature to keep the software current with the latest device drivers and documentation set.
