Analog Devices AD74416H Quad-Channel, Software Configurable Input/Output (SWIO) is a highly versatile device designed for industrial control and automation systems. Each of the four channels can be independently configured to function as an analog input, analog output, a digital input, digital output, or loop-powered current input, offering exceptional flexibility in system design. The Analog Devices AD74416H supports voltage and current ranges commonly used in industrial environments, such as 0mA to 20mA and 0V to 10V, and includes integrated diagnostics for open-circuit, short-circuit, and over-temperature conditions. The AD74416H communicates via a SPI interface and includes on-chip temperature sensing, 16-bit ADCs, and DACs for precise signal conversion. A robust design, including ±40V absolute maximum ratings and IEC61000-4-2 ESD protection, makes the device ideal for harsh industrial environments where reliability and configurability are critical.
