AAEON UP AI Core X is a complete product line of Neural Network Accelerators for edge devices, powered by the Intel® Movidius™ Myriad™ X, a third-generation Vision Processing Unit (VPU) that includes a Neural Compute Engine. The inclusion of this Neural Compute Engine allows "smart applications" to be truly smart, learning and interpreting data without cloud support, or in some cases, without even a network connection. 

AAEON UP AI Core X Expansion Boards are offered in MiniCard/mPCIe, M.2 2230, M.2 2242, and M.2 2280 form factors, with single and multiple chips. With just a few watts of power consumption, each chip delivers up to four Trillion Operations Per Second (TOPS) with a Neural Compute Engine capable of delivering up to one TOPS.
