This PAM2804 driver runs into Low Dropout Regulator (LDO) mode when the input voltage goes down to lower than the LED forward voltage. The PAM2804EV1 board operates at a 2.5V to 6V input voltage range. This evaluation board is ideal for use in 3AA or 4AA battery-powered flashlight and 1 cell Li-Ion battery-powered flashlight.
