Gen50 Connector System

TE Connectivity's (TE) Gen50 Connector System is designed to provide a safer, greener, and smarter solution while satisfying USCAR-2 mechanical and environmental requirements for 0.50mm systems. The Generation 50 portfolio features both size and weight savings to support designing, planning, or producing products where components that weigh less and take up less space can be beneficial. This connector system uses robust technology with an unsealed, clean body design and anti-stubbing terminal beam geometry that lowers the risk of terminal push-out and offers excellent insertion and stress distribution. TE Gen50 Connector System is ideal for a comprehensive range of automotive applications, including infotainment, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), body and chassis, powertrains, safety and security, battery management systems (BMS), and HVAC.
