GAN Systems GS65011-EVBEZ E-HEMT EZDrive open loop boost evaluation board allows engineers to evaluate the operation of the EZDrive circuit, a low-cost, easy way to implement a gallium nitride (GaN) driving circuit using a standard MOSFET controller with integrated driver. The EZDrive is adaptable to any power level, any frequency, and any LLC and PFC controller.

The board includes a GaN Systems GS-065 650 V enhancement mode GaN-on-Si transistor with patented Island Technology^® cell layout for high-current die performance and yield.

The EZDrive circuit universally converts a silicon MOSFET controller/driver to drive GaN Systems' E-HEMTs and eliminates the redundant GaN drivers and low-dropout (LDO) regulators of a monolithic integrated drive GaN device.
